To all, friend and foe alike, Merry Christmas! Give thanks for all the many blessings in your life, especially the birth of Jesus.Now's a great time to revisit the historical setting in which Christ was born. And there's no better resource than Dr. Paul Maier's In The Fullness of Time: A Historian Looks at Christmas, Easter and the Early Church. It reveals that the miracle of Christ's birth was, well, a miracle. Gratia Dei.
I know this is rather late, but it's nice to see that the phrase Merry Christmas is still used. It gets tiring making a conscious effort to be "politically correct" and say Happy Holidays instead.
